Sub Battery Module Communication Stop Mode [11/2021 - 12/2022]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (MULTI POWER CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the G89 multi power control ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G89-8 (CANH) - G89-12 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω Result

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the G90 multi power control ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J9-2 (PGND) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition J3-7 (BAT1) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V G90-6 (IG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V Power switch off Below 1 V Result
