Seat Belt Control ECU Communication Stop Mode [12/2022 - 12/2023]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the G59 seat belt control ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G59-19 (CANH) - G59-18 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω Result

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G59-12 (PGND) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition G59-1 (+B) - Body ground Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V G59-13 (+BCP) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V Result
