Hybrid Battery ECU Communication Stop Mode [11/2020 - 12/2022]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (BATTERY ECU ASSEMBLY BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the G156 battery ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G156-2 (CA2H) - G156-11 (CA2L) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω Result

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY ECU ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G156-17 (GND) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω G156-10 (GND1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition G156-14 (IGCT) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V G156-5 (AM) - Body ground Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V Result
