EV Control ECU Communication Stop Mode [12/2022 - 12/2023]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (EV CONTROL ECU BRANCH LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the A8 EV control ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the A16 and A17 EV control ECU connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A17-3 (E01) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω A17-4 (E1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω A8-4 (E12) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω A8-5 (E02) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
