Brake Actuator (Skid Control ECU) Communication Stop Mode [12/2022 - 12/2023]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 SKID CONTROL ECU) BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the A6 brake actuator bracket assembly (No. 2 skid control ECU) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A6-27 (CANH) - A6-43 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω Result

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A6-1 (GND1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω A6-30 (GND2) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
