DTC B0050-13: Driver Seat Belt Sensor Circuit Open [11/2020 - 12/2022]: Procedure
- CHECK CONNECTION OF CONNECTORS
Pre-procedure1
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the airbag ECU assembly and front seat inner belt assembly LH.
OK
The connectors are properly connected.

- CHECK CONNECTORS
Pre-procedure1
- Disconnect the airbag ECU assembly connector.
*1 Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly LH *2 Airbag ECU Assembly *3 Wire Harness - Disconnect the front seat inner belt assembly LH connector.
- Check that the connectors (on the airbag ECU assembly side and front seat inner belt assembly LH side) are not damaged.
OK
The terminals of the connectors are not deformed or damaged.

- Disconnect the airbag ECU assembly connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CHECK FOR OPEN IN THE CIRCUIT)
Pre-procedure1
- Using a service wire, connect terminals 30 (LBE+) and 24 (GNDL) of connector B.NOTE:
Do not forcibly insert the service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting a service wire.

- CLEAR DTC
- Using a service wire, connect terminals 2 (LBE+) and 1 (LBE-) of connector C.

(to Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly LH)NOTE:Do not forcibly insert the service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting a service wire.
- Connect the airbag ECU assembly connector.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs stored in memory.
