- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NOAC VOLTAGE) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
Pre-procedure1
- Check that the service plug grip and FC converter power outlet cable are not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip and FC converter power outlet cable, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the repair Service Information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Disconnect the J15 voltage inverter connector.NOTE:
If the J15 connector is disconnected with the auxiliary battery connected, P1CE6-15 may be detected. Therefore, check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal before starting the operation.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result J15-10 (NOAC) - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V V *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Voltage Inverter)NOTE:If the ignition switch is turned to ON (IG) with the voltage inverter connector disconnected, other DTCs will be stored. Therefore, clear the DTCs after checking.
Result
Proceed to OK NG
Post-procedure1
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Reconnect the J15 voltage inverter connector.
Result:
OK
REPLACE VOLTAGE INVERTER. Refer to REMOVAL [11/2020 - 12/2022]
