Installation [11/2020 - ]: Procedure

   1. Using a 5 mm long hexagon socket wrench, install the No. 3 brake power supply bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 6.6 N.m (67 kgf/cm, 58 in.lbf)

   1. Using a 5 mm long hexagon socket wrench, install the No. 2 brake power supply bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 6.6 N.m (67 kgf/cm, 58 in.lbf)

   1. Using a 5 mm long hexagon socket wrench, install the No. 2 wire clamp bracket with the bolt.

      Torque: 6.6 N.m (67 kgf/cm, 58 in.lbf)

   *1	Brake Booster with Accumulator Pump Assembly	*2	Brake Booster Pump Bushing
   *3	Brake Actuator Case Collar	*4	Nut

   1. Install the brake booster with accumulator pump assembly, brake booster pump bushing and brake actuator case collar with the nut to the brake booster with master cylinder assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf) 

   2. Engage the 3 clamps to the brake booster with master cylinder assembly.

   Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length

   Union Nut Wrench

   1. Using a union nut wrench, install the No. 1 brake actuator tube.

      Specified tightening torque 

      Torque: 15.2 N.m (155 kgf/cm, 11 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      • Do not kink or damage the brake line.
      • Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake line from the connecting parts.

      HINT: 

      • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

      • When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 22 mm (0.866 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)):

        13.4 N.m (137 kgf/cm, 10 ft.lbf)

   1. Connect the No. 2 reservoir hose to the brake booster with accumulator pump assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
      NOTE:

      • Make sure that the paint mark is outside of the Vehicle.
      • Install the clip within the range shown in the illustration.
