Disassembly [11/2020 - 12/2023]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ROCKER PANEL MOULDING COVER LH

      1. Heat the adhesive of the rocker panel moulding cover LH using a heat light.

        Standard Value

        Part Temperature
        Rocker Panel Moulding Cover LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
        WARNING:
        • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
        • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
        • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

        NOTE:

        Do not heat the rocker panel moulding cover LH excessively.

      2. Remove the rocker panel moulding cover LH.
  2. REMOVE NO. 4 ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PROTECTOR

      1. Heat the adhesive of the No. 4 rocker panel moulding protector using a heat light.

        Standard Value

        Part Temperature
        No. 4 Rocker Panel Moulding Protector 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
        WARNING:
        • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
        • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
        • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

        NOTE:

        Do not heat the No. 4 rocker panel moulding protector excessively.

      2. Remove the No. 4 rocker panel moulding protector.
  3. REMOVE SIDE MUDGUARD PROTECTOR LH

      1. Heat the adhesive of the side moulding protector LH using a heat light.

        Standard Value

        Part Temperature
        Side Moulding Protector LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
        WARNING:
        • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
        • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
        • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

      2. Remove the side moulding protector LH.
  4. REMOVE NO. 3 MOULDING TAPE

      1. Heat the adhesive of the No. 3 moulding tape using a heat light.

        Standard Value

        Part Temperature
        No. 3 Moulding Tape 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
        WARNING:
        • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
        • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
        • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

        Do not heat the No. 3 moulding tape excessively.

      2. Remove the 3 No. 3 moulding tapes.
  5. REMOVE ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PAD

      1. Heat the adhesive of the rocker panel moulding pad using a heat light.

        Standard Value

        Part Temperature
        Rocker Panel Moulding Pad 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
        WARNING:
        • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
        • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
        • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

      2. Remove the 2 rocker panel moulding pads.
