Inspection [11/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH 
    1. w/ Memory:
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        *a Slide Switch (Front)
        *b Slide Switch (Rear)
        *c Front Vertical Switch (Up)
        *d Front Vertical Switch (Down)
        *e Lifter Switch (Up)
        *f Lifter Switch (Down)
        *g Reclining Switch (Front)
        *h Reclining Switch (Rear)
        *i Lumbar Support Switch (Hold)
        *j Lumbar Support Switch (Release)
        *k Component without harness connected
        (Front Power Seat Switch LH)

        Standard Resistance

        SLIDE SWITCH

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition Result
        L34-7 (SLDF) - L34-20 (E) Front Below 1 Ω Ω
        L34-7 (SLDF) - L34-20 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
        L34-6 (SLDR) - L34-20 (E) Rear Below 1 Ω Ω
        L34-6 (SLDR) - L34-20 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
        FRONT VERTICAL SWITCH

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition Result
        L34-4 (FUP) - L34-20 (E) Up Below 1 Ω Ω
        L34-4 (FUP) - L34-20 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
        L34-5 (FDWN) - L34-20 (E) Down Below 1 Ω Ω
        L34-5 (FDWN) - L34-20 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
        LIFTER SWITCH

        L34-3 (LUP) - L34-20 (E) Up Below 1 Ω Ω
        L34-3 (LUP) - L34-20 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
        L34-8 (LDWN) - L34-20 (E) Down Below 1 Ω Ω
        L34-8 (LDWN) - L34-20 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
        RECLINING SWITCH

        L34-2 (RCLF) - L34-20 (E) Front Below 1 Ω Ω
        L34-2 (RCLF) - L34-20 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
        L34-1 (RCLR) - L34-20 (E) Rear Below 1 Ω Ω
        L34-1 (RCLR) - L34-20 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
        LUMBAR SUPPORT SWITCH

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition Result
        L34-14 (H) - L34-20 (E) Hold Below 1 Ω Ω
        L34-14 (H) - L34-20 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
        L34-17 (R) - L34-20 (E) Release Below 1 Ω Ω
        L34-17 (R) - L34-20 (E) OFF 10 kΩ or higher kΩ

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front power seat switch LH.

    2. w/o Memory:
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front power seat switch LH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH 
    1. for 8 Way Seat Type:
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
