Installation [12/2022 - 12/2023]: Procedure

   1. Place the front seat assembly LH in the vehicle.
      NOTE:

      • Protect the front seat legs.
      • Placing the front seat assembly LH in the vehicle must be performed by multiple people.
      • Do not damage the front seat assembly LH, body exterior or interior parts.

   for 4 Way Seat Type

   1. Connect the 2 connectors and clamp.
   2. Connect the front seat airbag assembly connector.

      HINT: 

      Refer to How to Connect or Disconnect Airbag Connector.

   1. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2022 - ]

   2. Insert the 2 location pins of the front seat assembly through the 2 body holes and place the front seat assembly.
   3. Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 TORX screws.
   4. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the front seat assembly to the frontmost position.
   5. Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the 2 TORX screws in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

   6. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position.
   7. Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the 2 TORX screws in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf)

   for 8 Way Seat Type

   1. for 8 Way Seat Type:

      Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the front seat assembly to the lowermost position.

   2. Insert the guide.
   3. Install the anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf)

HINT: 

When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
