1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

REPLACE COOLER CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2020 - ] 

1. Disconnect the M5 rear seat heater control sub-assembly RH connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   M5-1 (B1) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	11 to 14 V
   M5-1 (B1) - Body ground	Ignition switch off	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Disconnect the D79 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the M5 rear seat heater control sub-assembly RH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   D79-23 (SM2R) - M5-5 (SWR)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D79-23 (SM2R) or M5-5 (SWR) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Disconnect the M6 seatback heater assembly RH connector.
2. Disconnect the M5 rear seat heater control sub-assembly RH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   M6-4 - M5-10(E)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M6-1 - M5-7(HTR)	Always	Below 1 Ω
