Terminals Of Ecu [11/2020 - 12/2022]

  1. CHECK REAR WINDOW SHADE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the G16 rear window shade assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G16-8 (B) - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Within 60 seconds after ignition switch turned off, or ignition switch turned to ON again after 60 seconds have elapsed from time ignition switch turned off 11 to 14 V
      G16-7 (IG) - Body ground IG power supply Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      G16-1 (E) - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the G16 rear window shade assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G16-4 (RSW) - Body ground Rear sunshade operation signal
      • Within 60 seconds after ignition switch turned off or ignition switch turned to ON again after 60 seconds have elapsed from time ignition switch turned off
      • Cooler control switch assembly (rear sunshade switch) pushed
      Below 1 V
      • Within 60 seconds after ignition switch turned off, or ignition switch turned to ON again after 60 seconds have elapsed from time ignition switch turned off
      • cooler control switch assembly (rear sunshade switch) not pushed
      11 to 14 V
      G16-3 (REV) - Body ground Reverse position signal Start the hybrid control system, shift lever in not R 11 to 14 V
      Start the hybrid control system, shift lever in R Below 1 V
      G16-5 (SW) - Body ground Rear sunshade operation signal
      • Within 60 seconds after ignition switch turned off, or ignition switch turned to ON again after 60 seconds have elapsed from time ignition switch turned off
      • Multi-display assembly (rear sunshade switch) pushed
      Below 1 V
      • Within 60 seconds after ignition switch turned off, or ignition switch turned to ON again after 60 seconds have elapsed from time ignition switch turned off
      • Multi-display assembly (rear sunshade switch) not pushed
      11 to 14 V
  2. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    *1 Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) - -
    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 12/2022]

    2. Connect the driver side junction block assembly connectors.
    3. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      A-11 (GND1) - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      A-30 (ACC) - Body ground ACC power supply Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      A-31 (BECU) - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V
      A-32 (IG) - Body ground IG power supply Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      Ignition switch off Below 1 V
    4. Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) to the driver side junction block assembly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2020 - 12/2023]

    5. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      D12-6 (REV) - Body ground Reverse position signal Start the Hybrid control system, shift lever in not R 11 to 14 V
      Start the Hybrid control system, shift lever in R Below 1 V
