Rear Sunshade Shift-linked Function does not Operate when Shift Lever is Moved to R Position [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS 
    1. Using the GTS, perform the Active Test.

      Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [12/2023 - ] 

      w/ Front LiDAR Sensor:

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test 

      Tester Display Measurement Item Control Range Diagnostic Note
      Reverse Gear Signal Reverse signal OFF/ON -

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test 

      Tester Display
      Reverse Gear Signal

      w/o Front LiDAR Sensor:

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test

      HINT: 

      Perform the Active Test while the rear sunshade is fully raised or a raise operation is in progress.

      OK

      Rear sunshade can be lowered.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2023 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR WINDOW SHADE ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU [MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU]) 
    1. Disconnect the G16 rear window shade assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the D12*1 or D197*2 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
      1. *1: w/ Front LiDAR Sensor
      2. *2: w/o Front LiDAR Sensor
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      W/ FRONT LIDAR SENSOR

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G16-3 (REV) - D12-6 (REV) Always Below 1 Ω
      W/O FRONT LIDAR SENSOR

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G16-3 (REV) - D197-24 (REV) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. CHECK REAR WINDOW SHADE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the D12*1 or D197*2 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
      1. *1: w/ Front LiDAR Sensor
      2. *2: w/o Front LiDAR Sensor
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      W/ FRONT LIDAR SENSOR

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D12-6 (REV) - Body ground Start the hybrid control system, shift lever in not R 11 to 14 V
      Start the hybrid control system, shift lever in R Below 1 V
      W/O FRONT LIDAR SENSOR

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D197-24 (REV) - Body ground Start the hybrid control system, shift lever in not R 11 to 14 V
      Start the hybrid control system, shift lever in R Below 1 V

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

    REPLACE REAR WINDOW SHADE ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2020 - ]
