Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Malfunction [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Operate the Techstream according to the display and select Active Test (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [08/2015 - ] ).

   HINT: 

   Confirm that the vehicle is stopped and the engine is idling.

   Needle indication is normal.

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] )

Result: 

OK

1. Operate the Techstream according to the display and select Data List (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [08/2015 - ] ).

   OK

   Coolant temperature displayed on the Techstream is between 80°C (176°F) and 95°C (203°F) after warming up.

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

NG

1. Operate the Techstream according to the display and select Data List (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [08/2015 - ] ).

   Engine coolant temperature value displayed on the Techstream is almost the same as actual engine coolant temperature.
