REPAIR OR REPLACE CHARGING SYSTEM

1. Disconnect the ECM connector.
2. Disconnect the generator assembly connector.
3. Disconnect the battery state sensor assembly connector.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A83-44 (LIN) - C57-2 (LIN)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A83-44 (LIN), C57-2 (LIN) or A86-2 (LIN) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK

1. Check for DTCs, and then write them down.

   Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes 

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Engine > Clear DTCs 

3. Turn the ignition switch off and wait 30 seconds.

2. Allow the engine to idle for approximately 17 minutes or more.

1. Disconnect the ECM connector.
2. Disconnect the generator assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance
