Caution / Notice / Hint

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2025 Toyota Highlander, 2024 Toyota Highlander, and 2023 Toyota Highlander. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:

When replacing the combination meter assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a combination meter assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.

HINT:

Even when the light control rheostat switch is not operated, the brightness of the meter illumination is dimmed automatically when the taillights illuminate.
