- REMOVE REAR WHEEL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [01/2019 - 03/2019] , or refer to REMOVAL [03/2019 - 09/2022]
- REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER LH (w/ Cover)
- for LH Side:
for Hatchback: See step 2 [06/2018 - 09/2019], or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [09/2019 - 09/2022]
for Sedan: See step 2 [01/2019 - 09/2020], or see step 2 [09/2020 - 09/2022]
- for LH Side:
- REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER RH (w/ Cover)
- for RH Side:

- for RH Side:
- SEPARATE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY
for Hatchback: See step 4 [06/2018 - 09/2019], or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2019 - 09/2022]
for Sedan: See step 4 [01/2019 - 09/2020], or see step 4 [09/2020 - 09/2022]
- REMOVE REAR TRAILING ARM ASSEMBLY
- Using a transmission jack and a wooden block, support the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.NOTE:
- When jacking up the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly, be sure to jack it up slowly.
- Make sure to perform this operation with the vehicle kept as low as possible.
*a Wooden Block *b Transmission Jack - Remove the 2 bolts and separate the rear trailing arm assembly from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly.
- Remove the 4 bolts and rear trailing arm assembly.
- Using a transmission jack and a wooden block, support the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.
- REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER
- REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM BRACKET
