Removal [09/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - ]

  2. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE GAS CONTROL ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - ]

  3. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH (for AWD) 
    1. for LH Side:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER LH (for AWD) 
    1. for LH Side:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  6. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (for AWD) 
    1. for RH Side:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  7. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER RH (for AWD) 
    1. for RH Side:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  8. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER LH (for 2WD) 
    1. for LH Side:
      1. w/ Cover:

        for Hatchback: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

        for Sedan: See step  2

  9. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER RH (for 2WD) 
    1. for RH Side:
      1. w/ Cover:

        for Hatchback: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

        for Sedan: See step  3

  10. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY (for 2WD) 

    for Sedan: See step  4

    for Hatchback except Gasoline Model AWD: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  11. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BAR (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  12. REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  13. REMOVE REAR LOWER COIL SPRING INSULATOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  14. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY (for 2WD) 
    1. Remove the nut, No. 2 camber adjust cam, rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly and rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.
      NOTE:

      Hold the rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly while rotating the nut.

  15. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 
    1. Remove the nut, No. 2 camber adjust cam, rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly and rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.
      NOTE:

      Hold the rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly while rotating the nut.

  16. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly and rear suspension member sub-assembly.

      NOTE:
      • Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Loosen the bolt with the nut secured. (for 2WD)
      • Loosen the bolt with the nut secured. (for AWD)
