Installation [06/2017 - 09/2019]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT BELT RETRACTOR COVER 
    1. Install the rear seat belt retractor cover as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Install in this Direction
  2. INSPECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Engage the guide and temporarily install the rear seat outer belt assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

    2. Fully tighten the bolt (A), and then the bolt (B) to install the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.

      Bolt (A) 

      Torque: 12.5 N*m (127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf) 

      Bolt (B) 

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Securely lock the locking button.

      *a Locking Button

    4. Check that the ELR locks.
      NOTE:

      This check should be performed with the rear seat outer belt assembly LH installed to the vehicle.

      1. With the rear seat outer belt assembly LH installed to the vehicle, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.
  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly.
    2. Engage the 3 clips and 5 guides.
    3. Install the package tray trim panel assembly with the 2 clips.
    4. Return the rear seatback assembly LH and rear seatback assembly RH to their original position.
  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER 
    1. Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other rear seat shoulder belt hole covers.

  7. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT SET 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [03/2017 - ]

  8. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

  9. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [08/2018 - 09/2019]

  11. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  13. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  14. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  17. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    For TMC Made:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

    For TMMK Made:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  18. CONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    For TMC Made:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  19. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type) 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [06/2017 - ]

  20. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    For A25A-FKS:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [03/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2018 - ]

    For 2GR-FKS:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  21. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK 

    Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2017 - ]

  22. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [06/2017 - 09/2019]
