Recirculated/Fresh Air Modes do not Switch [03/2017 - 06/2017]: Procedure

1. Check that the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

   OK

   The No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

INSTALL NO. 1 BLOWER DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY CORRECTLY. Refer to  REASSEMBLY [03/2017 - ]

1. Check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   DTC B1442 is not output

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

GO TO DTC B1442. Refer to  DTC B1442: Air Inlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit [03/2017 - 08/2021]

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

HINT:  After warming up the engine, the engine coolant temperature will be 75 to 100°C (167 to 212°F). After a long soak, the engine coolant temperature, intake air temperature and ambient air temperature will be approximately equal. If the value is -40°C (-40°F), or higher than 135°C (275°F), the sensor circuit is open or shorted. Check if the engine overheats if the value indicated is higher than 135°C (275°F).

   After warming up the engine, the temperature value displayed is within the range specified in the normal condition column.
