Removal [03/2017 - 06/2017]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [03/2017 - 06/2017]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2017 - 06/2017]

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 METER HOOD CLUSTER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Operate the tilt and telescopic lever to fully extend and lower the steering column assembly.
    2. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws and 4 clips to separate the instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

      Remove in this Direction
    5. Remove the 2 clips.

    6. Disengage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    7. Disengage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    8. Disengage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    9. Disconnect the connector to remove the instrument cluster finish panel assembly.
  6. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    3. Disengage the clamp.
    4. Disconnect each connector to remove the combination meter assembly.
