Reassembly [06/2017 - 09/2019]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE (for TMC Made) 
    1. Apply butyl tape as shown in the illustration.

      Butyl Tape - -
      NOTE:

      Securely attach the butyl tape.

    2. Align the marking tape on the No. 1 roof wire with the tab on the front side of the roof headlining.

      *A for Normal Roof *B for Moon Roof
      *a Marking Tape *b 90°
      *c Adjustment Area - -
      Rotation Direction - -
    3. Engage each clamp.
    4. for Moon Roof:
      1. Turn the 2 visor connectors clockwise approximately 90° to install them to the roof headlining.
    5. Attach the No. 1 roof wire with the butyl tape.
      NOTE:
      • Securely attach the No. 1 roof wire.
      • If any of the No. 1 roof wire is left loose, it will cause an abnormal noise.
      • Make sure to attach the No. 1 roof wire without leaving any of it loose.

      HINT: 

      Secure the extra length of the No. 1 roof wire in the adjustment area.

    6. Install the No. 1 roof wire to the roof headlining with adhesive tape.

      NOTE:
      • Apply the tape securely in place.
      • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE (for TMMK Made) 
    1. for Normal Roof:
      1. Apply butyl tape as shown in the illustration.

        NOTE:

        Securely attach the butyl tape.

      2. Align the marking tape on the No. 1 roof wire with the tab on the front side of the roof headlining.

      3. Engage the 4 clamps.
      4. Attach the No. 1 roof wire with the butyl tape.
        NOTE:
        • Securely attach the No. 1 roof wire.
        • If any of the No. 1 roof wire is left loose, it will cause an abnormal noise.
        • Make sure to attach the No. 1 roof wire without leaving any of it loose.

        HINT: 

        Secure the extra length of the No. 1 roof wire in the adjustment area.

      5. Install the No. 1 roof wire to the roof headlining with adhesive tape.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. INSTALL NO. 13 ROOF SILENCER PAD (for TMC Made) 
    1. for Normal Roof:
      1. Align the No. 13 roof silencer pad with the markings on the roof headlining and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  5. INSTALL NO. 12 ROOF SILENCER PAD (for TMC Made) 
    1. for Normal Roof:
      1. Align the No. 12 roof silencer pad with the markings on the roof headlining and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  6. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING PAD LH (for TMC Made) 
    1. for Normal Roof:
      1. Align the roof headlining pad LH with the markings on the roof headlining and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  7. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING PAD RH (for TMC Made) 
    1. for Normal Roof:
      1. Align the roof headlining pad RH with the markings on the roof headlining and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  8. INSTALL ROOF SIDE RAIL SILENCER PAD LH (for TMC Made) 
    1. for Normal Roof:
      1. Align the roof side rail silencer pad LH with the markings on the roof headlining and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  9. INSTALL ROOF SIDE RAIL SILENCER PAD RH (for TMC Made)

      1. Align the roof side rail silencer pad RH with the markings on the roof headlining and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  10. INSTALL NO. 4 ROOF SILENCER (for TMC Made)

      1. Align the No. 4 roof silencer with the markings on the roof headlining and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF SILENCER (for TMC Made) 
    1. for Normal Roof:
      1. Align the No. 2 roof silencer with the markings on the roof headlining and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  16. INSTALL VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Vanity Light) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    1. Engage the claw (B) to install the vanity light assembly.
