DTC B1572: Telephone Microphone Error [03/2017 - 06/2017]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Clear the DTCs.
Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs
- Recheck for DTCs.
Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes

- INSPECT ROOF CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)
- Remove the roof console box sub-assembly but do not disconnect the connectors.
Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - ]
*a Component with harness connected
(Roof Console Box Sub-assembly) - Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Remove the roof console box sub-assembly but do not disconnect the connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the K12 DCM (Telematics Transceiver) connector.
- Disconnect the V14 roof console box sub-assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Replace the telephone microphone assembly with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.
- INSPECT DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)
- Remove the DCM (Telematics Transceiver) but do not disconnect the connectors.
Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - 09/2019]

NOTE:- The engine switch must be off.
- Do not swap the DCM (Telematics Transceiver) with one from another vehicle.

- Replace the DCM (Telematics Transceiver).
