ECO Switch Circuit [06/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Data List

   ECO switch assembly (Electric parking brake switch assembly) condition displayed on the Techstream changes with the actual switch operation.

REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2017 - ] 

Result: 

NG

1. Remove the ECO switch assembly (electric parking brake switch assembly).

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2017 - ]

2. Inspect the ECO switch assembly (electric parking brake switch assembly).

   Refer to INSPECTION [06/2017 - ]

   Result

   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE ECO SWITCH ASSEMBLY (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2017 - ]

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   K37-16 (GND1) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Disconnect the K55 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   K37-11 (ECU) - K55-20 (ECOS)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   K37-11 (ECU) or K55-20 (ECOS) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result
