Removal [03/2017 - 09/2019]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [03/2017 - 06/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2018 - 09/2019]

  2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [03/2017 - 06/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [08/2018 - 09/2019]

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [03/2017 - 06/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [08/2018 - 09/2019]

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [03/2017 - 06/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2018 - 09/2019]

  5. REMOVE ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine oil temperature sensor connector.

    2. Using SST, remove the engine oil temperature sensor from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

      • SST: 09817-33191 
      NOTE:

      If the engine oil temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    3. Remove the gasket from the engine oil temperature sensor.
