DTC B1321-87: Lost Communication with EMV Missing Message [03/2017 - 06/2017]: Procedure

1. Check if audio and visual system DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

GO TO AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [03/2017 - 06/2017]

1. Disconnect the K2 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the K21 combination meter assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   K2-5 (CNH1) - K21-36 (TX+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   K2-6 (CNL1) - K21-37 (TX-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   K2-5 (CNH1) or K21-36 (TX+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   K2-6 (CNL1) or K21-37 (TX-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - 06/2017]

2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait 3 seconds.
   NOTE:

   A minimum of 3 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly and radio and display receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.
4. Check if meter / gauge system DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes
