DTC C1336: Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone [06/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR 
    1. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB / Utility / Test Mode.
    2. Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

      Refer to CALIBRATION [06/2017 - 10/2020]

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB > Utility

    Result:

  2. PERFORM TEST MODE INSPECTION (SIGNAL CHECK) 
    1. Turn the ignition switch off.
    2. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB / Utility / Signal Check.
    3. Using the Techstream, perform a Test Mode (Signal Check) inspection sensor check and check that all Test Mode (Signal Check) inspection items change from incomplete to complete.

      Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [06/2017 - 10/2020]

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB > Utility

      OK

      All Test Mode (Signal Check) inspection items change from incomplete to complete

      Result

  3. CHECK AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION 
    1. Turn the ignition switch off.
    2. Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) has been installed properly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [06/2017 - 09/2019] , or refer to INSTALLATION [09/2019 - 03/2020] , or refer to INSTALLATION [03/2020 - ]

      OK

      The yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) is tightened to the specified torque.

      The yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) is not installed in a tilted position.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    INSTALL AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY CORRECTLY. Refer to  INSTALLATION [06/2017 - 09/2019]  , or refer to  INSTALLATION [09/2019 - 03/2020]  , or refer to  INSTALLATION [03/2020 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  4. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (ACCELERATION SENSOR) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB / Data List.

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB > Data List

    4. Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) output value displayed on the Techstream.

    REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2017 - 10/2020]

    REPLACE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2017 - 09/2019]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2019 - 03/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [03/2020 - 10/2020]
