DTC C060B-13: Left Electric Parking Brake Actuator Control Circuit Open [10/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connectors.

   OK

   The connector is securely connected.

3. Disconnect the vR2 and v1 No. 2 parking brake wire assembly connectors.
4. Check both the connector case and the terminals for deformation and corrosion.

   OK

   No deformation or corrosion.

5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

REPLACE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY 

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Make sure the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly is securely installed.
3. Disconnect the A34 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
4. Disconnect the v1 parking brake actuator assembly LH connector.
5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A34-13 (MRL+) - v1-2 (LE+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A34-12 (MRL-) - v1-1 (LE-)	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Remove the parking brake actuator assembly LH.

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2017 - ]

2. Inspect the parking brake actuator assembly LH.

   Refer to INSPECTION [06/2017 - ]

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2020 - ] 

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2017 - ]
