Removal [03/2017 - 06/2017]: Procedure
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR EMBLEM
- Apply protective tape around the luggage compartment door emblem as shown in the illustration.
Protective Tape - Using a moulding remover, separate the double-sided tape and disengage the 2 pins to remove the luggage compartment door emblem.NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the luggage compartment door panel.
- Apply protective tape around the luggage compartment door emblem as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE
- Apply protective tape around the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate as shown in the illustration.
Protective Tape - Using a moulding remover, separate the double-sided tape and disengage the 10 pins to remove the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the luggage compartment door panel.
- Apply protective tape around the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PLATE
- Apply protective tape around the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate as shown in the illustration.
*a Wooden Block *b Piano Wire Protective Tape - Insert a piano wire between the luggage compartment door panel and No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.
- Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.
- Pull the piano wire and cut the double-sided tape that holds the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate to the luggage compartment door panel.NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the luggage compartment door panel.
- Remove the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate.
- Apply protective tape around the No. 3 luggage compartment door plate as shown in the illustration.
