Reassembly [03/2017 - 06/2017]: Procedure
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER (for Type A)
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER (for Type B)
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH
- Engage the grommet.
- Engage the 2 guides to temporarily install the rear bumper upper retainer LH to the rear combination light assembly LH.
- Engage the guide and pin as shown in the illustration to temporarily install the rear bumper upper retainer LH and rear combination light assembly LH as a set.
*a Pin *b Guide Install in this Direction - Install the rear combination light assembly with the 2 screws.
- Connect the connector.
- Install the rear bumper upper retainer LH with the screw.
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER COVER LH

- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER COVER RH

- INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

- INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY

- INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL REAR BUMPER PAD
HINT:
- When installing the rear bumper pad, heat the rear bumper cover using a heat light.
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
HEATING TEMPERATUREItem Temperature Rear Bumper Cover 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) WARNING:- Do not touch the heat light and heated parts, touching the heat light may result in burns.
- Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.
*a Heated Part *b Heat Light NOTE:Do not heat the rear bumper cover excessively.
- Clean the rear bumper cover surface.
- Using a heat light, heat the rear bumper cover surface.
- Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the rear bumper cover.
- Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
- Remove the release paper from a new rear bumper pad.
HINT:
After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
- Install the rear bumper pad as shown in the illustration.

Press the rear bumper pad firmly to install it.
- INSTALL LOWER REAR BUMPER COVER (for Type A)
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER CORNER EXTENSION LH (for Type B)
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER CORNER EXTENSION RH (for Type B)
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER EXTENSION MOULDING LH (for Type B)
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER EXTENSION MOULDING RH (for Type B)
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH
- INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
