Red Indicator Remains On [09/2019 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds or more.
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

6. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

NG 

GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [09/2019 - 10/2020]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2020 - ]

OK

1. Check for vehicle control history and note any codes that are output.

   Refer to VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY [09/2019 - ]

1. Replace the DCM (telematics transceiver) with a new one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2019 - 10/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - ]

   NOTE:

   • The engine switch must be off.
   • Do not exchange the DCM (telematics transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
