DTC B15C1-11: GNSS Antenna Circuit Short to Ground; DTC B15C1-13: GNSS Antenna Circuit Open [09/2019 - 10/2020]: Procedure

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds or more.
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

6. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the antenna connector from the telephone and GPS antenna (for Roof Side).

2. Disconnect the antenna connector from the telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly).

   *a	Component without harness connected (Telephone and GPS Antenna Cord (No. 5 Antenna Cord Sub-assembly))

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I-2 - H-2	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I-2a - H-2a	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I-2 or H-2 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (NO. 5 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2017 - 10/2020]

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   E-2 or B-1 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Type B)). Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2017 - 10/2020]

1. Replace the telephone and GPS antenna (for Roof Side) with a known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2017 - 10/2020]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

Result:

1. Replace the DCM (telematics transceiver) with a new one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2019 - 10/2020]

   NOTE:

   • The engine switch must be off.
   • Do not exchange the DCM (telematics transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
