Removal [03/2017 - 06/2017]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:
    • When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occurs:
      • A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
      • The radio and display receiver assembly may not operate normally.
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  6. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for 7 Inch Display) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for 7 Inch Display) 
    1. Release the tilt and telescopic lever and fully extend and lower the steering column assembly.
    2. Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. Disengage the 4 clips in the order shown in the illustration.

      Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction
    4. Disengage the 5 clips as shown in the illustration.

      Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction
    5. Disengage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction - -
    6. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket.
  8. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for 8 Inch Display) 
    1. Release the tilt and telescopic lever and fully extend and lower the steering column assembly.
    2. Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. Disengage the 4 clips in the order shown in the illustration.

      Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction
    4. Disengage the 7 clips as shown in the illustration.

      Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction
    5. Disengage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction - -
    6. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket.
  9. REMOVE TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for 7 Inch Display) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  10. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE WIRE (for 8 Inch Display) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the multi-media module wire.
  11. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio receiver bracket.

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio receiver bracket.
