Center Airbag Sensor Communication Stop Mode [03/2017 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY MAIN LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the K73 airbag sensor assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K73-26 (CANH) - K73-27 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω *a Front view of wire harness connector

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K73-32 (E2) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω K73-33 (E1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Airbag Sensor Assembly) - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K73-36 (IG2) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V Result
