Removal [12/2017 - 12/2021]: Procedure
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [10/2017 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2020 - 12/2021]
- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH (w/ Cover)
- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (w/ Cover)
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as for the front floor cover LH.
- REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE
- REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst) WARNING:
- To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust manifold or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
- Disengage the wire harness clamp.
- Remove the 4 bolts and 4 compression springs and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst) from the exhaust manifold and tail exhaust pipe assembly.
- Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst) from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.
- Remove the 2 exhaust pipe gaskets from the exhaust manifold and front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front and Rear Catalyst).
- REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

- REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR WARNING:
- To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust manifold or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

- REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY WARNING:
- To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust manifold or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

- REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD WARNING:
- To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust manifold or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
- REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR WARNING:
- To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust manifold or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.
