Removal [02/2017 - 08/2020]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [02/2017 - 10/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2017 - 05/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [05/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2019 - 08/2020]
- REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
- Remove the terminal cap from the generator assembly.
- Remove the nut to disconnect the engine wire from terminal B.
- Disconnect the generator assembly connector.
- Disengage the clamp to disconnect the wire harness from the wire harness clamp bracket.
- Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.
- Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket from the generator assembly.
- Remove the terminal cap from the generator assembly.
