DTC C1A48: G Sensor [02/2017 - 08/2020]: Description

The forward recognition camera receives G sensor signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via CAN communication.

If the forward recognition camera receives a G sensor malfunction signal from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), DTC C1A48 is stored.

DTC No. Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1A48 G Sensor 2 seconds after the ignition switch is turned ON, the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more and a signal from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) indicating that there is a G sensor malfunction is detected by the forward recognition camera for 5 seconds or more.
