  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS AND SYMPTOM CHECK

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.

  4. INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [02/2017 - 10/2017] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2017 - 05/2018] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [05/2018 - 09/2019]

  5. CHECK FOR DTC* 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main body / Trouble Codes.
    5. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2017 - 09/2019] 

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Trouble Codes 

      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes

    GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART (LIGHTING SYSTEM). Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [02/2017 - 10/2017]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2017 - 05/2018]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [05/2018 - 09/2019]
