How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [02/2017 - 08/2020]: Procedure

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [02/2017 - 10/2017] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2017 - 05/2018] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [05/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2019 - 08/2020]

      OK

      CAN communication system is functioning normally.

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [02/2017 - 05/2018]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [05/2018 - 09/2019]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2019 - 08/2020]

  4. CHECK FOR DTCs 
    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2017 - 08/2020] 

      Chassis > LKA/LDA > Trouble Codes 

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2017 - 08/2020] 

      Chassis > LKA/LDA > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2017 - 08/2020] 

      Chassis > LKA/LDA > Trouble Codes
