Footwell Light Circuit [09/2019 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test 

   Tester Display	Measurement Item	Control Range	Diagnostic Note
   Side Mirror Foot Light	Door mirror foot lights	ON or OFF	-

   Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test 

   Tester Display
   Side Mirror Foot Light

   OK

   Door mirror foot lights illuminate.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the J7 outer rear view mirror assembly LH.
2. Disconnect the I8 outer rear view mirror assembly RH.
3. Disconnect the F16 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the chart below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   J-7 (MLP) or I8-7 (MLP) - F16-4 (MILE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I8-3 (MLP) or F16-4 (MILE) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   J7-3 (MLP) or F16-4 (MILE) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2017 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
