Installation [02/2017 - 08/2020]: Procedure

HINT: 

Perform "clear the integrated current value", "switch battery type" after replacing the battery.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [02/2017 - 10/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2017 - 05/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [05/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2019 - 08/2020]

1. Install the battery to the vehicle.
2. Install the No. 2 battery clamp with the bolt.

   Torque: 15.4 N*m (157 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf) 

3. Install the battery insulator to the battery.
4. Connect the cable to the positive (+) battery terminal and engage the clamp.
5. Tighten the nut.

   Torque: 5.6 N*m (57 kgf*cm, 50 in.*lbf) 

6. Engage the 2 claws and install the fusible link cover.

1. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal and tighten the nut.

   Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

   NOTE:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
