Reassembly [02/2017 - 10/2017]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 BACK DOOR EMBLEM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 1

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 2

  3. INSTALL HOLE PLUG (w/ Grommet) 
    1. Install the hole plug.

  4. INSTALL REAR LIGHT PACKING 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 1

  5. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 2

  6. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR PANEL PROTECTOR 
    1. Clean vehicle installation surface.
    2. Remove the release paper from a new No. 2 back door panel protector.
    3. Engage the clips to install the No. 2 back door panel protector.

      Double-sided Tape
    4. Press the double-sided tape area of the No. 2 back door panel protector.
  8. INSTALL NO. 1 BACK DOOR PANEL PROTECTOR 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the No. 2 back door panel protector.

  9. INSTALL BACK DOOR PANEL CUSHION 
    1. Engage the claws to install the 2 back door panel cushions.

  10. INSTALL REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 1

  11. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 1

  12. INSTALL BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1

  13. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 2

  14. INSTALL REAR WASHER NOZZLE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 1

  15. INSTALL REAR SPOILER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 1

  16. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER 
    1. Engage the guide and install the back door lower stopper.

    2. Install a new bolt.

      Torque: 7.2 N*m (73 kgf*cm, 64 in.*lbf) 

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  17. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR GROMMET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 2

  18. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 1

  19. INSTALL REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 3

  20. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - STEP 1

  21. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER 
    1. Clean vehicle installation surface.
    2. Remove the release paper from a new back door lock cover.
    3. Engage the claws to install the back door lock cover.

      Double-sided Tape
    4. Press the double-sided tape area of the back door lock cover.
  22. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH 
    1. Engage the claws to install the back door service hole cover LH.

  23. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. INSTALL NO. 3 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER 
    1. Engage the claws to install the No. 3 back door service hole cover.

  25. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 1 back door service hole cover.

  26. INSTALL NO. 1 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER 
    1. Engage the claws to install the No. 1 back door service hole cover.

  27. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE 
    1. Engage the claws to install the door pull handle as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Full open the back door, and ensure that the arrow provided on the back of the door pull handle is facing upward.

  28. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the clips to install the back door trim panel assembly.

  29. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH HOOK 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    1. Install the package tray trim garnish hook.

    2. Install the screw.

  30. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH 
    1. Engage the claws and clips to install the back door side garnish LH.

    HINT:

  32. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the claws and clips to install the back door trim upper panel assembly.

  33. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)
