Removal [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the hood lock nut cap.

1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Remove the 2 bolts and hood lock bolt to separate the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).

3. Disengage the guide.

4. Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly to remove the hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).
