DCM Communication Stop Mode [04/2018 - 08/2020]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) BRANCH LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the G9 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G9-15 (CANP) - G9-16 (CANN) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω *a Front view of wire harness connector

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G9-4 (E) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to DCM (Telematics Transceiver)) - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G9-1 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V G9-7 (IG2) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V G9-8 (ACC) - Body ground Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V Result
