Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the instrument panel sub-assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2019 - 08/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2022 - ] ).
  2. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE 
    1. Detach the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the wire.
      NOTE:

      When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 5 hooks (A).

    3. Detach the 5 hooks (B) and remove the instrument panel passenger airbag.
