DTC C1436: Yaw Rate Sensor Malfunction [08/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List.

6. Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor output value is displayed on the Techstream.

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor is installed properly (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).

   OK

   The sensor is tightened to the specified torque.

   The sensor is not installed at an angle.

   NOTE:

   Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal after replacement (Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).

Result: 

OK
