Installation [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Install a new O-ring to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.
2. Install the brake master cylinder sub-assembly with 2 nuts.

   Torque: 13 N.m (127 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

3. Using a union nut wrench, connect the 2 brake lines to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.

   *a	Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length

   Specified tightening torque 

   Torque: 20 N.m (199 kgf/cm, 14 ft.lbf) 

   HINT: 

   • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - 08/2022] , or refer to PRECAUTION [08/2022 - ] ).
   • When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 20 mm (0.787 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)):

     17 N.m (177 kgf/cm, 13 ft.lbf)

4. Attach the clamp and connect the connector.
