Terminals Of Ecu [08/2019 - ]

  1. COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

    1. Measure the voltage and resistance and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.

      WAVEFORM 1 (REFERENCE)

      Item Condition
      Tool setting 5 V/DIV., 20 ms./DIV.
      Vehicle condition Driving at approx. 20 km/h (12 mph)

      HINT: 

      When the system is functioning normally, one wheel revolution generates 4 pulses. As the vehicle speed increases, the width indicated by (A) in the illustration narrows.

    3. Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.

      WAVEFORM 2 (REFERENCE)

      Item Condition
      Tool setting 5 V/DIV., 20 ms/DIV.
      Vehicle condition Ignition switch ON, fuel level full → low (fuel level warning light on)

      HINT: 

      (A) will depending on the fuel level.

      • Fuel level full: Below 4 V
      • Fuel level low (fuel level warning light on): 4 to 9 V
  2. ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY

    1. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
