Removal [03/2019 - 07/2020]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [03/2019 - ]

    WARNING:
    • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  3. REMOVE AIRBAG CUT OFF SWITCH CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the clamps (1) to remove the airbag cut off switch cylinder sub-assembly (2).
